Exciting news for all motorsport enthusiasts! Trackschool is thrilled to announce our Unique Half Day Open Pit Lane Experiences at the renowned Western Sydney Luddenham Raceway. Choose between a morning or afternoon session, with a maximum of only 16 cars per session, ensuring you get ample track time and space to enjoy the thrill of the raceway.

For a more experienced driver looking to test your skills, our Open Pit Lane days offer the perfect opportunity to experience the track in a flexible and dynamic environment. Join us for an unforgettable half day of high-speed fun and adrenaline!

With the Luddenham Raceway Half Day OPEN PIT LANE Track Day, you get all the benefits of the standard track day event and more. There is still the all important briefing and there is still emphasis placed on giving you the best chance of improving your driving skills in a non-competitive driving situation. But because we are keeping group numbers down, now there is more opportunity to use the track with no restriction on time. This gives you a great chance to mix it up with other similarly experienced and motivated drivers and you still get great access to the best of motor sports professional driving instructors.

Please note: Our OPEN PIT LANE Experiences are not suited to first timers. First time drivers should sign up to our Luddenham Raceway Track Days where drivers are separated into groups according to their experience.

Track Licence

A Track Licence is NOT required to participate in this event, however for insurance purposes you are required to register with Luddenham Raceway at no extra cost.

• BRING ID - Everyone over 18 will need to show their ID to reception to check in, we will need to see a VALID Australian Drivers Licence; OR VALID Australian Photo ID Card; OR If you only have overseas ID, a VALID PASSPORT.
• REGISTER - If you haven’t been to Luddenham Raceway before you will need to register yourself to participate:
  • Over 18? - Click this link to register
    • On the day - show your ID to check in.
  • Under 18? -  ONLY YOUR PARENT CAN SIGN YOU IN
    • Parent - Click this link to register
    • Parent enters their details, once they get to the end, Parent will be able to select ‘add minor’ and will then enter the details of their Child.
    • On the day - Parent and Child will go to Check in and Parent will show their ID.
• If parent is NOT coming - Parent will need to email a copy of their ID (Valid Australian Drivers Licence OR Valid Australian Photo ID Card OR Valid Passport if Overseas ID) to info@luddenhamraceway.com OR Child can show copy of Parent’s ID at check in.
• If you are bringing Spectators/Passengers/Second Drivers, make sure you forward them the registration link as they need to register too!

Vehicle

Use your own vehicle, standard, performance, or race car. One on One Tuition is available.

• Our days are for Production based Sedan, Sports Cars, Clubman Cars, Aussie Race Cars, Legend Cars and Future Cars.
• Open wheelers unfortunately are not able to attend this event. This means no Formula Vees, Formula Fords, F3s etc.
• Your car can be road registered or unregistered.
• Vehicles must be roadworthy; Brakes and Tyres must not be worn out.
• There must be zero leaks of any kind, oil, fluid or water.
• Car must be empty. All personal items must be removed from the vehicle.
• All headlights, tail lights and indicators must be properly working and visible when turned on.
• Your car can be a standard car to a highly modified race car

Noise Restrictions

Noise limit is 95 dB(A) measured at 30 m. (See our FAQ for further details)

Age Limits

• Primary drivers, secondary drivers & passengers must be over 16.
• Primary drivers, secondary drivers & passengers under 18 require a Parent or Guardian signed Authority.

Luddenham Raceway Requirements

• Everyone MUST be wearing long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes.
• All Drivers must hold their Red P’s at a minimum.
• No one under 16 is allowed in the Motorsport Park at any time (We check ID).
• Helmets must be worn by anyone inside a car and can be hired for $20 on the day.
• Passengers/ Spectators are $20pp, Second Drivers are $50pp

2nd Driver requirements

• Secondary drivers can only drive in the same vehicle and group as primary drivers.
• Primary drivers and secondary drivers must be over 16 and if under 18 with a Parent or Guardian signed Authority.
• To be in the same group, primary and secondary drivers must have the same experience level.
• If you would like two drivers who are sharing the same vehicle to be in separate groups, you will need to book as two primary drivers.
• Secondary driver payment and booking can be made together and in advance of the event day or on the day of an event. Second driver fees apply.
